In order to view these modules you must have the following enabled:
- JavaScript
- Java
- Stylesheets
- Cookies
The following Browser/Operating System combinations have
been thoroughly tested:
- Internet Explorer 4.0 (and above) on Windows 95 (or later).
- Netscape Communicator 4.0 (and above) on Windows 95 (or later).
- Netscape Communicator 4.0 (and above) on Linux/Unix.
Netscape 4.7
(and above) on MacOs 9.0 or 9.1 is supported for the most part.
Internet
Explorer is not supported on any Mac OS.
For best results in viewing the Web Modules, please download the latest versions
(prior to 6.0) of
Internet Explorer (Try IExplorer
5.5 for maximum compatibility.)
Netscape Communicator (Try
4.78 for maximum compatibility).
Other Helpful Tips: Based on extensive student use, we suggest the
following:
- Work through the activities in order. Skipping to the quiz at the end is
not recommended.
- Use pencil and paper or a calculator for computations. Don't try to figure
everything out in your head!
- Don't use trial and error on the quizzes. All the questions can be
answered using concepts covered in the module activities.
- You do not have to work out the entire module in a single setting. You can
complete several activities, then resume at a later time.
- Read through the Student Manual before attempting the web modules. This
will give you an overview of the concepts which will be covered.
